4 Reasons Why You Need Hammock Chairs in Your Home

If you're thinking about purchasing a hammock chair for your home, there are several reasons why you should do so. These reasons include cost, size, and where to hang one. Keep reading to learn more. Also, remember the advantages of hammock chairs. Also, learn the best ways to turn a hammock chair. After you read this article, you'll be well on your way to enjoying a hammock chair in your home.

Benefits of a hammock chair
There are many benefits of installing Hawaiian hammock chairs in your home, including a sense of complete relaxation and peace of mind. The gentle swinging motion helps you reconnect with yourself and your body, and it encourages core engagement while promoting a sense of symmetry. A hammock chair also helps relieve pressure from the body's joints and promotes balance and flexibility. This means that it can be a comfortable place to nap while working or studying.

Installing a hammock chair in your home is easy. If you've ever tried installing a traditional nightstand, you'll be able to establish a hammock chair with ease. Many of these chairs can be installed with minimal effort, making them an ideal gift for friends and family. You can even choose to install one indoors using a ceiling joist or a porch joist.

Cost of a hammock chair
If you want to have a comfortable and relaxing place to relax, a Hawaiian hammock chair may be the perfect option. Made of white polyester rope, this chair hangs from a 47-inch hardwood spreader bar to create a comfortable seat that is 30 to 40 inches wide. You can install the hammock chair outdoors or indoors. Available in neutral colors, this chair offers a comfortable place to lie back and unwind. Besides being a comfortable place to relax, it is also an excellent physical activity and entertainment source.

If you're looking for a more portable option, you can purchase a hammock swing chair. These chairs are an excellent option for small spaces. They are less likely to tip over and are a safer option for people with balance issues or children. While the portable chair hammock comes with a stand, it does require a bit of set-up. However, hammock swing chairs are comfortable for the whole family to use outside despite their small size.

Size of a hammock chair
There are many factors to consider when purchasing a Hawaiian hammock chair. The first is the size. Hammocks are generally small enough for one person to use comfortably. In contrast, a swing bed can fit several people. If you plan to use your Hawaiian hammock chair indoors, check the dimensions first. Then, make your decision accordingly. Choose a hanging chair that fits the space where you'd like to place it. Rope hammocks are the classic type, and they are made from rope. Unfortunately, cotton rope hammocks tend to be more susceptible to mildew than polyester rope hammocks. Consider the style of the chair you want to purchase as well. South American hammocks are known for their bold patterns, vibrant colors, and fun tassels. Choose one of these if you're a camping enthusiast or prefer an exotic look.

A place to hang a hammock chair
You can install your Hawaiian hammock chair from a concrete ceiling or a beam in a sturdy area of your home. Make sure that you use strong enough hardware to hold 300 lbs. Once you have purchased the hardware, drill a hole into the beam and hang your chair. Hang it from a concrete ceiling or beam about 30 inches from the roof's edge. Once the hook is securely in place, you can enjoy your hammock chair for hours.

Once you've purchased the hammock chair, it's time to decide where to hang it. A great place to hang a hammock chair is the lanai of your home or the family room. Since hammock chairs don't have a footprint underneath, you can move them quickly and vacuum without worrying about the cords tangling or falling. In addition, hammocks are great for keeping your food out of the reach of bears. While most hammocks are made of cotton or nylon, some are made of fish-net-like designs that look like fishing nets. If you'd like a more exotic look, you can opt for a Brazilian hammock, which uses cotton fabrics and macrame decorations.

DIY Project Plan: Kid's or Baby Room

A kid's or baby room should be designed and fitted in a way that is appropriate for the child's age. It is important to use materials that are proven free from harmful substances, suitable for children's use and appropriate for their age. Since moving into our house last October, I still wasn't able to renovate our Lilly's room. As she is currently co-bedding with us, I really do not have the urgency to renovate or decorate her room just yet. And with the lockdown, choosing and buying materials is also a challenge.

So here are just some of the ideas that I have been considering for her room:

1. This nursery at The Home That Made Me is very nice. The layout of the room is similar to my daughter's so I can choose to arrange the baby furniture is this manner.   I just love white furniture and the ones that we have are also white except for the closet which has a wooden optic to it. We still have to do something about the walls though since it currently has an outdated wallpaper.

Gray and white is the color theme of this room.

2. A rose-colored room for a girl's room? It is every girl's dream. I love how the rose in this room is not so overwhelming. With the just the right hue of rose pink, it is very easy on the eyes.  And the layout is very practical and just very sweet. Just perfect for a girl's room!

A dream room in rose!

3. Lastly, this baby girl's bedroom I found at Project Nursery designed by Liz Eidelman. I love the use of an unsual color palette for a baby girl's room. It speaks a lot not only of sweetness and femininity, but of boldness, strength of character and wildness. Qualities also fitting for a girl.

A baby girl's room with a less traditional color palette.

So which one is your favorite? I love all three, so that it would make decorating harder. Let's see if I will be able to pull off decorating Lilly's room that will fit her personality.

A Bedroom in the Attic

My first born's bedroom in the attic is just about the largest sleeping room in the house. Technically, we are finished with the renovations. New wallpaper, white paint, carpet flooring and baseboards are finished and she already moved in, along with the furniture that she decided to keep.

All that is left is how to decorate it to make the room more relaxing and a place to retreat to after a busy day. I wanted it to be a room fitting for a girl her age but designed in such a way that it will be easy to update once her taste and color or design preference changes. Basically, her room has the sloping roof on the long side and it has two skylights for windows. We placed one bed on one of the shorter side, while her book shelves and study table are positioned on the opposite side. This is to separate her study and sleeping area. Now she has plenty of space in the middle of the room.

I read from interior design magazines and online articles that low furniture for storage are my best options when choosing furniture. I could place a lowboard below one of the skylight windows and then perhaps a lounge chair beneath the other skylight window for when she wants to take a break from all the studying.

I am also thinking of placing a round low table in the middle of the room. Like this table we found at Ikea last Saturday:

We plan to illuminate the room with lamps, a standing lamp beside the lounge chair and table lamps for her bedside table and the lowboard. There is this simple but modern design that I particularly like:

I also plan to place some framed photos on the wall where her bed is. And maybe add this printed deer to give the room a touch of color:

We can't wait to finish decorating her room so we can move on to the next room in the house. But because my hands are full with our 2nd baby, I can only do so little at one time. Well, we have all the time in the world. Slowly but surely, we will be able to renovate and redecorate each room to our liking.

3 Ideas for Kitchen Renovations

After many years of working in the same kitchen, it can sometimes start to feel stale and in need of a revamp. Luckily, there are many available products and services available that can help you renovate your kitchen to one that you are proud to call your own. Here are a few ideas for kitchen renovations.

New Floors
The kitchen can often be a center of activity in a home, and due to this, the floors can get quite worn out. Investing in new floors is a great way to keep your kitchen clean and up to date, and looking at options for floor tiles Honolulu HI is one way to carry out this type of renovation.

Appliance Upgrades
Kitchen appliances can easily become dated without you really noticing until they're on their last legs. Replacing your appliances with newer, more effective ones will ease your overall kitchen experience. Another benefit of getting new appliances is updating your kitchen to have a sleeker look. New appliances can breathe new life into a kitchen that was just a bit dated.

Granite Countertops
One of the newest trends in popular kitchen design is the addition of granite countertops. What makes granite countertops so effective is the singular, smooth surface that they allow you to perform your kitchen tasks on top of. Traditional kitchen countertops have creases in between tiles where food can get caught. Granite countertops eliminate these for one smooth surface. Plus, the aesthetics of granite countertops can't be beaten.

New floors, appliance upgrades and granite countertops are three ideas for kitchen renovations that will have your kitchen looking and functioning like brand new in no time. The kitchen is such a central part of the home. By renovating it, you're making sure that it stays an effective and functional area that looks great too.

Where Can You Buy High Quality Furniture?

Are you looking to completely refurnish your apartment or home? If this is the case, you will need to seek out high quality furniture in order to replace all of your old furnishings. The amount of places you can buy furniture is quite overwhelming. Where should you begin your search? You should keep in mind that you do not only need to rely on furniture stores in your local area. You can also buy furniture online. In fact, online retailers will usually have bigger inventories than brick and mortar stores. Here are a few ideas about where you will be able to find great furniture.

1. Talk to some people you work with to see if they can recommend any good furniture retailers to you.

You might have some success by talking to your coworkers about the experiences they have had buying furniture. These people have probably bought furniture many times in their lives. Therefore, the chances are very good that you will be able to get a few good references that will be useful to you in the future. Make sure that you ask these people what type of furniture they bought and how much they paid for it. You might also want to consider asking your neighbors if they know of any good furniture stores in Mesa AZ.

2. Go to some home and garden shows in your area.

Furniture retailers will often have displays set up at home and garden shows. You will be able to try out their furniture in order to see if you like it. You can check online or in your local newspaper for the dates of the home and garden shows that will be coming to your city.

3. Take some time searching various online furniture retailers.

You will be able to find a very large selection of furniture when you shop online. You just need to be patient and compare prices to get the best deal. You should also be certain that a long warranty is included with every piece of furniture that you buy.

Bike As a Wall Deco?

My husband is a hobby - triathlete. He started three years ago and I admire his discipline and passion for the sport. He trains regularly at the sports club where he is member in and also goes to the fitness studio to do his strength training. He finds the sport challenging as it tests his endurance.

Of course, this sport requires equipment and gear. The swimming and running gear are just small ones that you could easily store in a box, but for the biking gears, that's another story. He has at least 3 bikes, one he uses for his triathlon races, one for off-road and the other for longer distance bike marathons. One that he keeps inside the house is his Argon. So I have been looking for solutions on how to integrate it into the home without making it look out of place and at the same, very easy to access once he needs to use it. And also, I want it off the floor!

And here are some ideas that I found:

Perfect for those who love white!
There's a storage for the helmet too!
There's a shelf for other stuff where he can put it other bike stuff.
This one is available on Etsy!
Very minimalist style... Also a good idea.
So which one design you like best?

What To Consider When Buying
Garden Furniture

On most days, we dream about summer evenings with family and friends, chilling or having a grill party in the garden, terrace or balcony. There is just something in the open air that is relaxing and very conducive for open talk. Wouldn't it be nice to have an outdoor extension of your living room?

Whether you have a terrace, a balcony or a garden at home, you can always create your outdoor living room. But if you  are not sure how to begin and where to begin, here are a few things to consider so you can enjoy your living room extension the whole year through:

1. How big is your outdoor space? Is it as big as a sprawling garden or small like a snug balcony? It is essential to choose garden furniture that will complement the size of your ourdoor space. You also need to consider the number of people who will be using it and for which purpose. Would you like it to be multi-functional, to be used both by kids and adults alike? An extendable rectangular table will be perfect for parties where you expect a large number of guests. Storage benches are perfect for storing cushions, blankets and kids toys.

Metal garden furniture with a parasol is perfect for your garden.

2. What type of material would you like your outdoor furniture to be? Whether wood, metal or woven, each type of material is unique in itself and will require some level of maintenance.

Wood is probably the most loved material when it comes to furniture because it lends warmth and it ages beautifully. One must however treat wooden furniture with care to prevent it from drying out and rotting. Re-glazing and sanding your wooden furniture may be required every now and then.

Metal is robust and can stand any weather condition. It is durable, rust-free and requires low maintenance. So if you want furniture that can stand the bitter cold of winter and the scorching heat of summer, then metal furniture would be a good choice. And because it can be bent and shaped, there are many possible designs to choose from: from contemporary to Victorian, from elegant to sleek lines.

Woven material is perfect for gardens because it blends almost perfectly with shrubbery and plants. Depending on the material, the type of maintenance needed also varies. Woven furniture from resin material usually require lesser maintenance as they are easier to clean while woven furniture from rattan or natural fibres may require some treatment every now and again. Regardless of the material, they are perfect for outdoor use and can stand any weather condition.

3.  Breath life into your outdoor space. Customize it by adding a few personal touches. Lighting will always add to the ambience that you want to create. Parasols will help to protect you from the sun's harmful rays. A gazebo is perfect for BBQ parties and can offer protection from those summer showers or provide privacy for an utter relaxation. Adding some cushions into your garden furniture will bring the comfort of the indoors out. You can also add some decking to section off an area for lounging or to just up the look of your balcony.

So there you have it! And who says you can't have an outdoor party in these wet and gloomy autumn days? With the right garden furniture and additional personal touches, you still can enjoy your outdoor space the whole year round.

A Kitchen Of My Own

I am not much of a cook although I love to invite friends at home for a small gathering. In fact, as a newlywed, I can only manage to prepare fried dishes. As time passed, I was able to "evolve" and improve my cooking skills, thanks mostly to my Mom who taught me how and to experience, another great teacher.

I also enjoy watching cooking shows and aside from learning the mouth-watering recipes that I would love to prepare myself some day, I also dream of being able to serve them to my loved ones in my beautiful dining room, with a contemporary dining furniture right at the heart of it. I dream of chic table settings in my glass-topped dining table and comfort for my family and dinner guests in the matching dining chairs.

While waiting for the food to be ready, guests could lounge by the kitchen bar and have a seat at one of the bar stools and enjoy some cocktail drinks while having a whiff of the feast that will later be served.. And I know just what kind to get for my kitchen bar: the Havana white kitchen bar stool - just the perfect addition to any contemporary kitchen! We could play some nice music, not so loud so as not to distract the conversations going on.

Yes, I want a huge kitchen - a cozy yet contemporary one. One in which I can move around without bumping onto table edges and one that is equipped with modern kitchen appliances to make cooking easier and fun.

A Home Sweet Home

I really love scouting for home furnishings, putting up ideas together for our future home sweet home. I look at different styles and try to keep myself updated with the trends in home styling so that I can do the decorating myself.

I want an airy and spacious home especially if we are planning to build our home in my tropical home country, with high ceilings, large windows and with decorations kept to the minimum. I have always been drawn to the contemporary minimalist style but more on the warm and comfy side for the living room because I believe it is a place for receiving family and friends.

For the bedroom, I dream of white interiors and furnitures that is French Renaissance inspired. Finding the Annabel range of the Frank Hudson furniture is really a heaven-sent. I so love the soft curves and the soft ivory paint finish... it's very romantic! :) Now I have something to look forward to in our future bedroom.

I also dream of having a large terrace furnished with garden furniture made of rattan. There is a garden adjacent to it where I grow my favorite greens and flowering plants.

Ah.... it will be a home sweet home indeed!

Taming The Toddler Bed

You’ve lowered the crib mattress as low as it can go, but your little one still manages to catapult himself out of his crib with ease; it might be time to consider curbing the crib and taming the toddler bed.

When preparing your home for this milestone, be sure you really consider the timing. If your toddler is already overwhelmed with other huge changes in his life like potty training, moving homes, changing schools, new sibling, etc., you might want to consider waiting until things slow down a bit. Toddlers have a tendency to get overwhelmed easily and will look for comfort in familiar spaces and things. Because of this, when it’s time to give up his crib, it might be best to wait until this is the only big change happening for maximum success.

In preparation for the big switch, it’s necessary to keep your toddler involved in the process. Discuss it with them at length, letting them know what to expect and what you expect from them (like staying in their bed all night). Perhaps, give them a vote on picking out their new bed, if that’s an option and let them help with putting their new bed together. The point is to get them excited about the new change and becoming a “big kid”.

Additional tips on choosing a toddler bed: If your child is going into a proper toddler bed, look for something close to the ground with sturdy side rails. For regular twin and full beds, side rails can be purchased separately from any specialty baby store.

When introducing the bed for the first time, keep everything else in the process the same as always. Same nap time or bed time routine, same sheets, blankets and favorite toys as always; and some experts even suggest placing the crib in the same spot as the crib was so the view from inside will be the same.

Most importantly, be patient. This is a big change for this little person. Aside from ditching the diaper, this will be the biggest change he will be going through. The trick is to stay calm, be reassuring, and prepare yourself for nighttime visits. When this happens quietly walk him back to his room with a kiss and a hug and then leave. Any lingering or prolonged cuddling will only encourage this behavior.

Last, it is a good idea to take extra safety precautions around your home now that your toddler has been freed from the crib. As much as we would love for them to listen to us when we say “stay in your bed,” we all know that toddlers often times have a mind of their own. If your child knows how to unlock and open outside doors, you might want to consider installing latch locks at the top of doors. Locking bathroom doors, refrigerators, and ensuring dangerous and/or expensive items are put out of reach is also a good idea.

Your toddler might know better than to climb on the counter and grab a permanent marker when you’re standing right there, but all bets are off at three in the morning. Rule of thumb, as always, is better safe than sorry. If you find that staying in bed is becoming an issue, consider a reward system similar to potty training, anything to keep the process and positive and happy one.

Good night and good luck!

Let There Be Light!

Winter is almost here and that means longer nights... Did you know that winter is the time of year when more and more people become depressed? This is because of the lack of exposure to white light. If you want to beat depression, better have as much white light in your house as possible. And to make your room look modern, try putting up contemporary ceiling lights. There are lots of modern designs available today to suit your taste that have different lamping. Whether it is incandescent, fluorescent, halogen, or Xenon. If you want to stay healthy by having a well-lighted room and at the same time create different moods in your home, invest on lighting.

Some ceiling light designs that I really love are the following:

This is a flushmount ceiling light from Robert Abbey Lighting that has incandescent lamping enclosed in a frosted white glass. It is available in three finishes: antique brass, polished nickel and deep Patina bronze.

Got artwork in a room that you want to highlight in your house? This directional lighting with halogen lamps will do the trick! With a satin nickel finish, your room will always be modern and chic!

This two light semi-flush ceiling light is convertible! You can have it installed close to the ceiling or low by attaching the chain. That is why it is also perfect for the dining room!

Take your pick and make way for a more nicely lit room this winter season!

Small Space?

You have always dreamed of having enough room to move around your house. Unfortunately, your current abode does not afford this space. So you think of moving to a bigger house... but the would entail spending more than what you are already spending for your house rent or house mortgage. The best thing that you can do? Make your rooms functional and try to minimize yoour furniture. As they always say, "less is more".

So what's the secret to making your room look bigger and roomier?

A mirror large and wide enough, mounted on one wall will give any room the illusion of it being bigger as mirrors reflect a room. Plus, it reflects light so that it helps to light up the darker parts of a room.

When choosing furniture, choose those that are multi-functional and are not so bulky looking. You can for instance use a Howard computer cabinet that is foldable and can be mounted on a wall instead of the traditional computer table if you are using laptops or notebooks. The colors of some of your furniture should also be a monotone of your wall color so that they will blend with the room, making it look wider. Be sure also that your furniture does not block the walkway.

Color your walls with a softer and lighter hue as they make a space feel open and airy. For best results, use soft tones of blue and green.

Remove all the clutter. Use and put in your room what you only need. Store away all those that you don't need. Keep things simple and organized. You can decorate a room of course but don't overdo it. Create a focal point in your room and keep your decorations to a minimum. It is always better to just hang one painting on a wall than a number of small ones.

Just The Three Of Us

My little girl, who is now almost 42 months old is still sleeping with us. But I can't complain since she is our very own little doll. Although she is not huggable, she is still one who's very easy to cuddle. :D I know that I have to train her to sleep on her own but I guess it is not yet the time.

With a bed this big, there's enough room for three!

One reason that's stopping us from training her to sleep in her own room is that she doesn't have her own bed yet. The room that is supposedly hers is currently being used as an office and linen room. We would need to purchase her own bed and closet among others to furnish it. I also want to create a room with a princess theme since I know that she will love it. And with so many things that I want to do in her room, it would also need a great deal of budget. So we are putting the "Princess Room Project" on hold until further notice. For now, she sleeps with us in our own little nest.

And YES, Mama is not ready yet to let go of her little baby.

Where Does Your TV Stand?

Anyone who doesn't have a TV, raise your hand! I guess at this day and age, one can expect at least one television unit in a home. Some even have one in each room. With TV becoming a part of our daily lives as a source of information and entertainment, one should of course see to it that it stands on something sturdy and stable.

When it comes to TV stands, online shopping sites is one of the places to go to. They offer all your audio-visual furniture needs and carries many different brands and all types of TV stands that will suit your taste. If you are on a budget, you can choose from a wide selection and offers free shipping on almost all products.

We have always wanted to buy a cantilever TV stand for our flat screen LCD TV but we always hesitate on buying one because the ones we find are just way too expensive. Then I found something that is just prefect. It can suit LCD TVs up to 42" wide and can hold about 40kg of weight. It allows for cables to be managed properly without the unsightly spaghetti look. It has also two shelves made of toughened black glass and will just be perfect for our blueray player and media receiver. It also has a black modern look. And most of all, it helps save space because it does not occupy the entire wall as some TV panels do.

If you want to buy a new one for your LCD TV, just make sure that you consider these things: security (of your TV), comfort (of the viewer when watching) and storage (of your DVDs or players and unsightly cables). Than you will be one happy coucher.

My Little Work Space

My eyes are bothering me again. I can't seem to study for long hours because my head would begin aching. Maybe from too much studying? I can't even work too long with the computer because my eyes would get watery after a couple of hours. Perhaps I don't have enough lighting here in our office room. Perhaps that is the reason. I only have a single light bulb here. I am lucky if I can work during the day because I can just roll up the blinds and light will come flooding into the room. But in the evenings and early mornings, the problem comes.

This is how my work desk looks like. This is where I spend most of my time when I am not in school and my little girl is in kindergarten and my husband is at the office. It really is a nice one. We purchased this one at Ikea and hubby and I had to work together for almost two hours because the assembly is quite complicated. All that is missing is a desklamp. I should purchase one. And soon. And perhaps I could also use an additional side table where I can study because there is not enough room for my notes and for writing on this one.

There is a coordinating writing table for this model and I don't really need a very big one. Just a table with enough space for me to work like the one in the second photo. It has been a while since we visited Ikea. I think it is about time we visit again. And oh, in case you are wondering, it's the Micke series of Ikea.

An Empty Balcony

Our current house will always be an ongoing project for us. There is still a lot of work to be done in this two-bedroom flat, one of which is our very spacious balcony.

See the photo below? It is very wide, boring, empty and bare, right? It could really do some improvement, or an overhaul perhaps? I know that lots of creativity, a little planning, some Kichler outdoor lighting and of course, some money, will do the trick!

I have always dreamed of creating my very own balcony garden and I can already imagine how it will look like: some wooden flooring on one side, a small water garden with some tiny fish, greens here and there, some orchids, garden furniture, and voila! I really want something that will evoke that relaxing and natural feel and a balcony garden like the one in the photo below is just what I want!

Isn't it just the perfect little haven especially in the summer? This would really be the perfect place to relax and chill out after a long day at school for me and a long day at work for my hubby. I know I should start saving up if I want to create my very own balcony as in the picture above. And I must find the right garden furniture too.

An Adjustable Bed

We recently moved to a new house and we are currently trying to furnish it, one day at a time. Our next project will definitely be furnishing our bedroom. We badly need a new bed and so I am looking for good beds out there.

These days, we are sleeping the traditional Japanese way where we only use futons for beds. I must admit it has been a while since we slept on one so that when we wake up in the morning, we end up having low back aches. Even the hubby snores a lot because of the uncomfortable flat position. But I know it will end and we will finally get better sleep soon.

So which bed to choose? I have been hearing a lot about Craftmatic adjustable beds and how equipped with optional heat and massage may provide temporary relief of low back pain and temporary relief of edema or swelling legs. I know that we just need one especially now that the cold days are here. We sure could use an adjustable electric bed with a heating accessory so that we wouldn't need to use the heater in our room overnight. My legs also tend to swell especially during the cold season because I don't move a lot. Having a bed that I could adjust so that I can raise my legs for a number of minutes during the day and in the evenings will indeed be very helpful. And because it is adjustable, hubby can adjust the bed in such a manner that he sleeps in an almost upright position. Perhaps through this, his light and occasional snoring may be lessened or subside.

With all these benefits that a Craftmatic adjustable bed provides, we might as well purchase one.

To Relax and Chill Inside the House

Looking for a good place to stay, where you can relax and chill, at no extra cost? There is only place to go: your living room. If you feel like your living room is too crowded or too messed up that just sitting in your couch stresses you out, then I guess it is high time for you to change and rearrange how your living room should look.

Even if your living room is small, you can still make it inviting and relaxing by putting in the right accents, furniture, and color. Remember that less is more so try not to put so many things in your living room. I'd say put in the basics first. To start with, you could use a good modern sofa that looks so relaxing and inviting, you would always just want to be nestled in it.

Then add some character to your living room with a rug. Rugs can help eliminate noise, helps keep your feet warm and softens the look of your floor. But don't use them if you have a compact space because it will limit how you position your sofa. Create contrasts by using the color scheme of your sofa on different textures and materials. You can for example combine the old and new for that rustic look. Add storage spaces that are functional and expressive and try to arrange your books according to color to achieve that harmonious look. You can then add a few more things: personal mementos, plants, candles to complete the look. Then you now have a place you can officially call your haven inside the house.
