TCP 50: Full House

Hello Couchers! Oh no, I am late again! My sincere apologies. I wasn't feeling well yesterday with a very terrible head and stomachache and my hands were full. By the time I sent my little girl to bed, I managed to sleep with her too. Duh! Anyway, I hope all is well and I hope that you are all ready for this week's theme: Korean Dramas. I know you have seen a number of series or movies with this theme and I can't wait to read your entries.

My pick for this week: Full House. I just find it cute, funny, and frustrating too! Although I find some similarities in the plot in other Korean Dramas like Coffee Prince, I still find it endearing and well, worth watching. Even my FIL enjoyed watching the series with me on Youtube. Lol! I think this series came out in 2004 and was even translated in the Filipino language when it was aired on Philippine television. But please note, this is not the Philippine version but the original Korean Version.

So what's the story about? It is a story about love and heartbreak, sadness and self-preservation.

A naive, cheerful albeit, somewhat of a recluse writer, Han Ji Eun (Song Hye Gyo) is swindled out of everything she owns. Not by strangers, but her best friends! Stranded in another country, she is determined to get home with the help of an actor, Lee Young Jae (Bi), only to find that all which is precious to her has been sold. In an attempt to get her possessions back, she has entered in a contract marriage with Young Jae. It is quite simple, until feelings start to develop. Everyone around them test the love Young Jae and Ji Eun have for one another, including Young Jaes grandmother.

In spite of it all, Ji Eun manages to be humorous and endearing - even when her heart is breaking.

So, what's your kind of Korean Drama? Come share it with us this week and don't forget to enter your TCP link in the linky below:

And oh, I apologize for not visiting your TCP entries lately. I have just been quite busy. Will try to visit your entries this week and comment though. Again, I am sorry.

That's it for our theme this week. Hope to see you again next week for the theme: It's A Greek Thing. Thank you all for your continued support for Tuesday Couch Potatoes. Till next week Couchers! Happy TCP and enjoy the rest of the week.
