TCP#56: Million Dollar Baby

Hello Couchers! Will somebody please hit me?? I am late again for this week's TCP and I know it is not nice to keep you all waiting and hanging on the line. My apologies my dears. Things have been crazy again last weekend and I just didn't have the time to sit in front of the computer. It came to my mind whether I should end TCP or have another blogger host it. If anyone is willing to host, please raise your hand!

Anyway, our theme for this week is Favorite Morgan Freeman Movie. I wouldn't have hesitated posting The Bucket List but since I have blogged about it one too many times, I would pick Million Dollar Baby instead. Morgan Freeman's role here is only as a supporting actor but his role is as important as anybody else's nonetheless. His character as Eddie "Scrap-Iron" Dupris, an ex-boxer and employee of Frankie Dunn, was significant in a sense that he was instrumental in helping Maggie Fitzgerald's achieve her American Dream. His narrations during the non-dialogue parts of the movie gave it more meaning and more emotional impact. I would say that although it was just a supporting role, it was played very effectively and beautifully by Morgan Freeman.

So, what's your Favorite Morgan Movie? Come share it with us by sharing your TCP link in the linky below:

That's it for this week's TCP Couchers! Come and join us again next week for your Favorite Susan Sarandon Movie. Thank you so much for joining us this week. Till next Tuesday. Take care and Happy TCP!
