Back With A New Look

One of the first earn-money-online sites I joined when I started blogging was dNeero. If you have no idea what it is, it's a social networking site that allows its members to answer social surveys, post the conversation on their sites and then earn money after it has earned 5 days of impressions. One can also share his or her opinion on Twitter Conversations posted on @dNeero.

It has been a while since I last joined a conversation. The last one I joined was in July 8, 2009 and I was really glad to receive an update from the team, a simple survey to answer and an all new look which I think is better than the old one.

Check out my answers to the conversation below:

I have already received my first payout of $20.27 last May 11, 2009. I have a current balance of $4.89. Payouts are given when you reach $20.00 or more via Paypal.

With things turning around again at dNeero, I hope to reach the $20.00 mark soon! Interested, join us and be a dNeeroite!

Our Crowning Glory

Our hair will always be a part of who we are. What we do to it and how we manage it is also a reflection of what we are and what's going on inside us. These days, we are faced with different choices for hair styles and various hair treatments are available to make us feel and look beautiful.

I am not so much a fan of styling my hair but I always admire people who take the time to get their hair done. I am more into the hair care though. I guess I am proud of my long black hair that I just don't want it styled, afraid that it would be damaged with all the ironing and spraying. Or maybe I am just plain lazy to bother! LOL!

But whatever you do with your hair, take the time to give it some loving once in a while. After all, it is our crowning glory.

Memorial Day

Memorial Day came and went so quickly for me. I guess it is a great thing in the US to remember all the soldiers who have fought hard and have been fighting hard for FREEDOM. And I hail all the soldiers in the US and the world over for their bravery and patriotism to their country. Here's hoping that your great deeds and courage and love for your country will be remembered not only on Memorial but ALWAYS.

Tattoos Anyone?

Tattoos have become popular lately.. and here in Germany, I see lots of German men with tattoos on their arms, colorful and very unique at that. But in Japan, tattoos are not allowed especially if you want to work for a reputable Japanese company. They associate tattoos with the Japanese mafia, I think. So I guess it is different for different cultures.

But I have never really liked tattoos. Whenever I see tattooed men (and women) I get scared and feel intimidated by them. Some would argue it is a form of art. Some, a form of expressing one's self. What do you think?

Everybody's Twitting!

Twitter is gaining more popularity by the day. Thanks to celebrities and news programs using it as another medium of interactive news and getting their thoughts broadcasted. It's the new rage, I guess.

Which celebrity do you follow on Twitter? Do you tweet too?

Even Science Musems Are Affected

According to CNN, Interactivity in museums ... in years past you would go to a science museum and look at the marvels that man had made or discovered ... informative, interesting, but something was lacking ... then came the idea of interactivity ... touch, feel, explore, experience ... and amazingly, we learn! Yet, we have this thing called a recession ... maybe it's global ... and "Only 16 percent of the nonprofits expect to cover their operating expenses this year, while 52 percent anticipate the recession will have a long-term or permanent negative effect on their organizations."

Yes, even museums get affected by the recession too because they only get lesser visitors in a day because people are tight on budgets. And science museums are an important part of a person's education for without it, we would't better understand how things work and we wouldn't get a glimpse of the future. So learn and support and visit the museum today.

Music and More

Music is a part of man's life. One can never live without music... when we were babies, our mommies would sing us a lullaby to get us to sleep. We learn the alphabet and the numbers more easily by singing it. We have music in school and in church. We listen to music in our bedrooms, in the house, while exercising, while commuting to work, in our office. We even sing in our bathrooms! Yes, no matter what genre of music that we like, it has been an integral part of our being. And I am thankful for the music. My, I am even hooked to American Idol 2009! Been watching it since day one.

Random Christmas Thoughts

So, it's Christmas already and here are some of my thoughts about it:

Frosty the Snowman does exist... (if you are from very cold places where there is lots of snow!)

Christmas is the season of joy and sharing. Count not how many gifts you receive this Christmas but how many you have helped and shown an act of kindness.

Remember that Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

Have a Happy Christmas everyone!

Do You?

Whenever you run out of cash, what do you do? Do you take advantage of Payday Loans? This question came across my head with the financial crisis going on and with the Holidays around. Hope you spend your money wisely this season. And remember, it's not how lavishly you prepare your Christmas dinners or parties, it's how you spend it with family and friends and loved ones.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Engage With Grace

So, you think you have talked to someone about almost anything. Well, think again! Have you ever talked to someone about your last will, or what you want to get done if you find out you have a terminal disease? Or how about your last wishes on earth? Have you already planned out your funeral and where you want to die and be buried? These are some questions most of us would rather not talk about. Who would like to talk about their own deaths anyway? I guess, none of us would. We'd like to live life as much as we can. But I guess death is a reality of life that we have to face. After all, it is only our material bodies that leave this earth. Our spirits live on... in the world we call The After Life.

It's All About Me... Again :D

Time to fill you with something more about myself. Check out the survey for the answers to some Q'a about me.

About Christmas

It's only 35 days more till Christmas! Are you just excited? I can't wait for it since it will be the first Christmas with our baby. I just love the spirit of sharing, forgiving, and the warmth that the joy of Christmas brings. No matter where you are in the world, no matter how you spend it, here's hoping you have a peaceful and happy Christmas. Remember, it is not the gifts that you receive or the parties that you attend or the new clothes that you are able to purchase. The most important is that you are happy to celebrate it with family and loved ones and of course, the holiness and peace and joy that the birth of Jesus brings to the whole of humankind.

Obama is America's 44th President

Obama made history when he became the first black American president. The whole world, I think, is also happy about the outcome. Here is hoping that he will live up to his promises during the campaigns. God bless America!

Visit the Zoo!

I just love visiting the zoo to watch some exotic and not-so-exotic, endangered and wild animals. Feeding times are my favorite since you get to see animals' eating habits. And of course, the information about them allows you to understand better that things are indeed interconnected. This conversation is for the benefit of the Zoo Atlanta. So I hope you click through to help me raise funds for them. Enjoy!

For The Love of Movies

All of us love movies. The kid in us, the romantic in us, the adventurer and the brave in us, the strong of heart in us, the comedian in us, the wanderer and imaginative in us. No matter what personality we have, there is surely a movie that fits us. It depends really on what we are in the mood for. As long as they are great movies, we watch them. Don't they just make life a little bit more interesting? Yes, movies have become a big part of our lives. Some stories, whether fictional or based on true events, have touched our lives in one way or another. And these are the movies that all of us are looking for.

So, who among you have a DVD collection of your favorite movies? And how many times have you watched them? Do you ever get enough of it or does it give you a brand new perspective each time you watch it?
