My Gift Is Intellect

I took this short quiz online to find out what my gift was. The questions were simple and very easy to answer. What I didn't expect though was the result. My gift is Intellect. But I don't really consider myself an intellectual person so this came as a surprise. But whatever my gift is, it is mostly thanks to Him who created me.

Your Gift is Intellect

You are a big thinker, and you're always playing with new ideas. You are curious about the world. You enjoy learning and developing new theories.

You enjoy researching, analyzing, and solving problems. Thinking hard feels good!

You're the type of person who finds most mental tasks to be easy. You love to stretch your brain.
What's Your Gift?

Today is Fronleichnam (Corpus Christi) and here in Stuttgart, it is a public Holiday. Corpus Christi is celebrated by the Christian world on a Thursday, 60 days after Easter Sunday. Today we honor the Holy Eucharist, which is one of the important traditions of the Catholic Church.

We should have gone to church today to celebrate the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist but we chose to stay home. The weather is not so good today... It rains every hour or so. I hope the weather will get better so that we can go out later on, visit the church and light some candles.

Fronleichnam is a public holiday in the following states here in Germany: Baden-Wuerttemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland and in some parts of Sachsen and Thuringia. Being a public holiday, it meant banks, post offices, stores and businesses are closed today. And I forgot to buy groceries for today! Oh no! I guess I'll have to make do with what's left in the fridge.

Well, I hope everyone has a great Thursday! Take care all!

Of Plagiarism And Friendship

Much has been said of copycats and plagiarizers on the net. I am not a fan of the act myself and so I hope nobody will try to use my work. But with the Internet being so big and information being so readily available, it has become quite easy to just copy and paste, and harder to track who did it. I value creativity in my work and I hope that people will be responsible enough when they publish... to give credit where it is due. This way, everybody is happy.

Anyway, Mommy Jac of Mum's Special Diary sent this info about Plagiarism and this Treasured Friends Forever Award my way. Thanks mommy for the thought and for the friendship too!
Copying others work is Plagiarism can disguise serious offenses Read More. Plagiarism is using someone else's words or ideas passing them off as their own, without giving the original person a credit. I am thankful that I found a reliable site copyscape.com now I can easily find sites that have copied my content without my permission.

Music In My Heart

I have always loved listening to Jesuit Music. They comfort and reassure me that I am never alone even if I am alone. They always reassure me that my God is present here with me. Each time I get exhausted and burdened by my duties, I listen to vespers or Himig Heswita or Bukas Palad or Hangad or Noel Cabangon, and I am on my feet again. I know music will always rejuvenate me especially if the music is from the heart. And I thank God for the gift of music, for without music, life will indeed be dull.

My song for today is entitled Pilgrim's Theme. Everytime I feel that life has become too monotonous and routinary for me, I listen to this acapella version of Hangad. And the exhaustion goes away as I realize that God is constantly calling me and all I need to do is listen. I realize that I need not despair because the road I have chosen is that path that is meant for me.
