A Biking Trip

I do not know how to ride a bicycle and I would sometimes overhear Hubby saying: "I wish my wife knows how to ride a bike. That way, we could enjoy the countless biking trails and explore the countryside or go around city sightseeing on our bikes. It's faster, healthier and more economical." He would utter these lines most especially when we go on out of town trips and see vans, cars and motor homes with yakima racks with bicycles attached on the back of the vehicle or see a family or group of people sweating it out and enjoying the day riding their bikes.

You see there are lots of nice biking trails all over Europe and these are perfect for nature lovers like me. The problem is, I don't know how to ride a bike. So perhaps, I should start learning how so that when our little girl is big enough to learn how to ride a bike, we can finally plan a biking trip and have a real countryside vacation in one of the many camping sites scattered here. I could also use the skill to make it easier for me to move around the university when I start in September. Wish me luck!

Good luck learning to ride. I think it's easier for those of us who learned when we were young. You know kids learn everything easier. lol Don't think they worry about falling and hurting themselves. We used to ride quite a bit. Bad knees now, so I don't.

I do hate the spam thing, but last time I added it; it didn't seem to make a difference so I took it back off. Somehow those techy types figure out away around it.

Plus if you don't do the anonymous you can't get name and url which is essential to bloggers leaving comments when they have more then 1 blog, which I think most bloggers do.

oh I see you're allowing it, just not approving it when you check it. I've not tried that method yet. Worth considering.

Oh good luck! It's not as hard as it looks, and biking can be liberating! I haven't been on a bike in years and wish I could again soon. If I could, I would bike to work! Kaya lang I work nights so it might not be safe. :(
