I have seen lots of blogs being transformed beautifully by my dear Marce Kaye. I just love how her genius and creative mind works... She knows just what to do with her blog designs and customizes them according to her client's needs.

My Two Blogs Got Some Makeover

Did you get the chance to visit my two other blogs lately? I've been quite restless again these past few days so I decided to change the layout of my two other blogs: Samantha's Own and In His Steps. I have been neglecting them lately, with no updates for quite a while and so I thought that they could use a makeover to begin with and some blog updates.

I got the In His Steps template for FREE from Ms. Lena of Fabulous Blogger Templates. I just edited the blog header to give the blog title a more personal appeal and I just love how it turned out. This is one of the three layouts in her latest FREEBIE collection.

The template for Samantha's Own was one of the four premade templates that I won from Ms. Lena's Giveaway a month ago. Again, I just edited the header and added Sam's photos and personalized the blog title. It originally had white background with a floral graphic on the left side but Hubby complained about it being too white so that I had to tweak it and change the background into something that matches the colors of the header. I had a difficulty selecting the background but the present one was the best I could come up with.

I hope you like my two other blogs' makeover. The next challenge: a blog makeover for Just About Anything. I have no idea how I want it to look like. And with my blog turning 2 years a month from now, I know that I just have to give it a whole new look. Now, if I could just gather my thoughts and come up with something one of a kind... Your ideas are most welcome.

I WON Again!

Wow! So many wonderful blessings are coming my way. What a great way to start my birth month. Hehe! Oh yes, in 29 days, I would have already been three decades old. Hubby asked me this morning how it feels to be 30. I just said, it's just the same ME I guess. Safe answer huh?

Anyway, I joined Lena's giveaway last month. She was having a premade template giveaway to celebrate her reaching more than 1500 followers. Don't Be Alarmed!

ou may have noticed that something's amiss on my right sidebar. Can you guess what it is?

Yup, you got it right. My blogroll is no longer there. But don't fret. Your links are still all here and intact. I just moved them to new page that I now call My Bloglist. Can you see it up there on my Navigation bar? I had a hard time figuring out how to do that first but realized that I can also manipulate the way I published the page. I will be categorizing it further to make it more organized. Once my OCD starts kicking in, you'll know!

Anyway, here's how I did it:

On the Posting menu on your Blogger Dashboard, just select Edit Pages and then once you have your new page ready for publishing, hit the Publish Page button. You are given three options as in the image below:

Choose No gadget and then hit Publish. View the page and copy the link URL of your page.
Then go to Layout and then Edit HTML. Look for the following code in your HTML:

<div id="'NavbarMenu'"> <div id="'NavbarMenuLeft'"> <ul id="'nav'">
or something similar.

Then, add the following codes:

<li><a href="'Page'">Page Title</a></li>

Be sure to click on SAVE TEMPLATE for your changes to take effect. And that's it!

A New Look For Me Too!

I have been tweaking my blog again. I posted previously that I changed Samantha's blog layout and gave it a new look. And since I am already at it, I might as well change my blog's look too. It's brighter, fresher, and cool to the eyes and I really like how it turned out. Of course, it ate up my entire afternoon. Instead of writing reviews for Fedhz' contest, PSE has kept me occupied.

Samantha's Own's New Look

I am restless once again and getting bored with my little girl's blog layout that I decided to give it another fresh new look. It is about time too as she is now a toddler and I want something that will show how much she has grown. I found just the perfect layout for her, thanks to Template-Mama who generously offers wonderful free blogger templates. I was able to customize the header with her blog title and her photo too, to really make it her own.
