8 Things

The number 8 they say is a special number because it represents infinity. And I must have been special to be tagged by my adorable Samantha... of course she can't forget me because I am, foremost, her Mommy! LOL! Thanks baby for the tag. I will always be your number one fan!

8 things I'm looking forward to:
- learn how to drive
- see Samantha in school
- the weekends spent with family
- trip to England (TBA) to see hubby's family and visit the Queen!
- vacations to the Philippines
- some "ME" time
- meet some blogger friends in person
- receiving pens and pencils for Pens of Hope in Davao for the less fortunate grade school children of Davao City

8 things I did yesterday:

- did the laundry
- figured out where the post office was and sent some letters
- ate bulad (dried fish) for lunch
- cleaned the bathroom and toilet
- made badge for Pens of Hope in Davao
- dropped EC's again (WOOHOO!!)
- talked to a new friend on the phone
- made dinner for the family

8 things I wish I could do:
- swim
- drive
- speak German
- work part-time
- inspire others
- help my family in the Philippines financially
- get others to support Pens of Hope in Davao
- earn more money out of blogging

8 shows I watch:
- CNN (news programs)
- Boys Before Flower (a Koren version of Meteor Garden)
- Avatar: The Last Airbender
- Hanah Montana
- MTV Pimp My Ride
- Spongebob Schwammkopf
- Grey's Anatomy
- Lizzy McGuire

Am not going to tag 8 persons but appeal to those with generous hearts to support Pens of Hope in Davao.

Wow… it’s really cool!

I got the meaning of the 8 here…

Actaully 8 pronounced “ba” in Chinese, and means very good thing such as “fa” make more money, get richer, fortunate…. etc. Lots people like to have 8 in their card number plates or mobile numbers…

I know it’s different culture… when I read your post, it reminded me the 8’s meanings in Chinese.

Good luck!
