Food Friday: Kaki Fry

food friday

This is my husband's favorite: Kaki Fry! Whenever we dine out, he would make sure that he orders a plate of Kaki Fry. And because he loves it so much, I came to love it too.

These "Kaki" or oysters are coated with egg and breadcrumbs and some other special ingredient and deep fried in canola oil. You might think that it is greasy but nope, it is not. What it is though is very crsipy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Hmmm... just writing this post makes my mouth water. Each serving of kaki fry comes with finely chopped fresh cabbage and a slice of lemon and special sauce for you enjoy your kaki more!

Well, Happy Friday everyone! Hope everybody has a good weekend.

i’ve heard of fried oysters … and this one looks so yummy! i still have to try this, though. can’t seem to find one in the restaurants we’ve been to … maybe it just means we have to eat out more often! lol.

thanks for playing this week, K!
happy weekend
