A PS3, We Want One

I remember when I was still a kid. I would curiously look at bigger and richer kids who have this computer game gadgets in their hands. They seem to be very busy and occupied with it, focusing all their attention and energy into it as if their life depends on it. At first, I just couldn't get it. I thought it's dumb.

My impression when I got to play Super Mario on Family Computer at my cousin's. Then I first got my hands on a tetris game, the closest thing we can afford to buy then. This hand-held game became very popular in the late 80's and early 90's. I finally understood why they acted that way.

So many game gadgets have been invented and released into the market since then and they are being updated at lightning speed. It was only a few years ago since the release of PlayStation and now, it's already ps3. It is not only me who loves to play computer games. My Hubby loves it more. Whenever we go to electronic shops to buy some consummables for our PC and home, I would always find him dropping by the gaming section and checking out the eye candies there. I just know that if we had extra money, I he would readily buy one.

I Love My Teeth

Girls Talk has got a new host and a new home, my dear marce Kaye of Beauty Queen Gene and although I am late, I know I just can't let this meme pass.  My conscience has been nagging me since yesterday to post my entry. Hehe!

This week's theme is bragging about what we love in us, physically. I had to think loonnnggg and hard for this one. I even thought of skipping it altogether. But for the love of Kaye, here I am. I am not endowed with the perfect body that many are fantasizing these days: tall, slim, fair-skinned, flawless skin and with boobs and a behind to match, so that I cannot brag about that. My crowning glory, my hair, has gone from very straight to a little wavy due to daily ponytails and I can't brag about that either. So I guess my best asset would have to be my teeth. They are not perfect in the sense that I don't any teeth problems but when I smile, people would notice my straight, even, pearly whites. Then perhaps you can add my butt. People also notice that. Or am I just too big so that they can't help but notice it? Hehe!

Find out what the other girls are bragging about!

Breath In!

The age of modern technology has made it possible for the manufacture of countless health and life-saving gadgets. It is good to know that things nowadays have gone portable so that people can easily monitor for example their blood pressures and blood glucose levels. People who have chronic breathing problems can breath easier using an inogen oxygen concentrator so that it is almost like they are breathing in pure oxygen, helping their hearts to not work as much as when they take in just the regular air. People with cardiac problems especially those with life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias, and ventricular arrhythmias, ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia can be given immediate aid through AED (automatic external defibrillators).

Yes, these beautiful things that technology has afforded the modern man allows him to live a normal life even if he has life-threatening health problems. And that's more than reason enough to just breath in and embrace life and enjoy the little moments.

Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock!

The clock is literally ticking for me. My online tasks are swarming me and I have only until today to wrap them all up before I go have some summer fun starting tomorrow. On top of that, I still have errands to make, bags to pack, and a travel itinerary from July 3rd to July 11th to finish. That makes things even more difficult. I wish I were like Naruto ( a long running Japanese anime) and I could make ten clones of myself or I wish I would grow ten hands, so that I can do all of these within just approximately twenty three hours. Too much TV eh? Lol!

I want to enjoy my time away with the family so that I have to finish things up. I don't want to look above the spires of the Duomo in Italy or enter the holy grounds of the Lourdes in France having a worried look on my face and a sick, lingering thought that I have some unfinished business left at home. That just isn't right and unfair on my part especially if I want to have a relaxing and stress-free summer vacation.

And so heavens help me. I don't want to go with lots of things going on in my head or everything will just go to waste.
